Greenland now represented in China

The Representation of Greenland in Beijing officially opened on November 18, 2021. Thus, the whole realm of the Kingdom of Denmark is now represented under one roof in Beijing.

The establishment signifies a stronger presence and branding of Greenland in China. Sitting in the office is Head of the Representation, Jacob Isbosethsen, who visited China respectively in 2017 and 2018.

“I am very pleased to finally be in China and to establish the Greenland Representation here in Beijing. A country with long history and strong culture, China is developing fast. It is also the largest export market for Greenland in East Asia. I am looking forward to building new partnerships, and to bringing more of Greenland to China. We are ‘open for business’ and ready to work,” says Jacob Isbosethsen.

The Representation of Greenland in Beijing strives to strengthen bilateral relations between Greenland and China on a number of sectors such as trade, tourism, and culture.
