Closing notice due to Chinese New Year 2026

The Danish Embassy in Beijing and the Consulate Generals in Shanghai and Guangzhou as well as the visa application centres will be closed from Monday 16 February to Thursday 19 February, 2026 (both days included) due to Chinese New Year.

The representations and the visa application centres will be open for business from Friday 20 February 2026.

In case of consular emergency, please call the switchboard of the Embassy at +86 (10) 8532 9900, the Consulate General in Shanghai at +86 (21) 8025 0600 or the Consulate General in Guangzhou at +86 (20) 2829 7300 where you will be re-directed to the 24/7 call centre at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Copenhagen (Tel: +45 3392 1112 or e-mail: [email protected]).
