1. Student assistant for Public Diplomacy, Media and Culture
Are you interested in Media and Culture? Do you like working with graphic design, event support and editing of presentations and videos? The Royal Danish Consulate General in Shanghai is currently looking for a Chinese student assistant to assist part-time in our Public Diplomacy department.
Overview of daily tasks
• Assist with content creation and postings on SOME channels
• Assist with communication and maintain our Alumni Network Denmark database
• Assist during events and activities
• Assist with translations during presentations and visits
• Assist with graphic design
• Photographing and video filming during events
• Video editing
Requirements
• Enrolled in University, preferably a third year or Master student
• Available to work at 20 hours a week
• Exceptional writing and editing skills in both English and Chinese
• Structured approach to assignments and strong multi-tasking ability
• Excellent research and communication skills
• Familiarity and facility with social media tools and experience in promotions is preferable
• Experience in photographing, film making/editing and graphic design

2. Student assistant for The Trade Council
Are you interested in supporting Danish export activities in China? The Trade Council is currently looking for a student to assist our Commercial Officers part-time with various tasks. The Trade Council is the Commercial Department of the Royal Danish Consulate General in Shanghai and offers consultancy services to Danish companies within different sectors such as Water, Environment and Maritime, Food and Agriculture, Health and Energy.
Overview of Daily Tasks
• Assist with research and fact finding
• Assist with both online and offline events, as well as occasional tasks related to Chinese social media
• Assist with translations from Chinese to English - English to Chinese both oral and written
• Assist with planning, organizing and executing promotional events and fairs
• Preparation of Power Point presentations
• Ad hoc tasks
Requirements
• Master student, available to work 20 hours a week
• Exceptional writing and editing skills in both English and Chinese
• Structured approach to assignments and strong multi-tasking ability
• Excellent research and communication skills
• Familiarity and facility with social media tools and experience in promotions is preferable
• Experience in photographing, film making/editing and graphic design is a plus
• Knowledge of different sectors (Water, Environment, Energy, Food etc.) is also a plus
• Positive attitude to new tasks, fast pace and team spirit
