Ambassador's background
Ambassador Michael Starbæk Christensen is the Ambassador of Denmark to China and Mongolia.
From 2019 to 2024, he was posted as Ambassador of Denmark to France. Before that he served as Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Denmark.
He has a law degree from the University of Copenhagen and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School. He is also Knight of the Order of Dannebrog.
