  • Hefei is home to state-of-the-art Sino-Danish research on China's digital economy

    Professor Chee-Wee Tan from the Department of Digitalisation at Copenhagen Business School (CBS)and Professor Hefu LIU from the School of Management at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) form the core team of an ambitious, long-term Sino-Danish research collaboration focusing on the drivers and consequences of China’s digital transformation. On 30 August, Innovation Centre Denmark (ICDK) Shanghai visited Hefei and USTC to learn more about the collaboration and explore potential opportunities for joint projects.

  • ICDK Shanghai prepares for Robotics company tour

    Innovation Centre Denmark is in collaboration with Invest in Denmark currently preparing an inspirational tour for 4-5 Danish companies, which will come to China in the middle of September. The Danish companies will all be SMEs within the Robotics sector, and on the tour they will have the chance to meet other Chinese robotics companies and attend various fairs, seminars and shows related to the robotics industry. 

  • Innovation Centre Denmark, Shanghai welcomes their new executive director

    At ICDK Shanghai, the employees had the pleasure to welcome Søren Boutrup, the new executive director, on August 1st. At the Innovation Centre in Shanghai, the main focus sectors will be Fintech, Edtech, ICT, Cleantech and Life Science, and as the new director Søren will be dedicated to integrate the entrepreneurial spirit of the city in all of ICDK’s work.

  • INVITATION: China-Denmark Blockchain Experts' Dialogue

    For some years, rumours have existed that China’s Ministry of Science and Technology would be closed down or merged with other ministries. It therefore came as a surprise when China’s National People's Congress in March 2018 approved restructuring plans, which will strengthen the ministry.
