Chinese Student assistant – Energy and Maritime
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark is looking for a Chinese student assistant with an understanding of working in an intercultural environment with both analytical and translation tasks.

The Energy & Maritime team is part of the Trade Council at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark. We advise Danish companies and organizations on their strategy for penetrating the attractive but complex Chinese market and assist on the practical implementation.

Job Description
Your function will be:
Assist the Energy & Maritime Team with a broad aspect of energy and maritime related issues such as, renewable energy (especially offshore wind and energy storage solution), district energy, energy efficiency, smart city solutions, maritime, etc.  
Responsibilities: 
Assist with relevant policy and project research in both English and Chinese 
Support document translation, data collection and verification 
Assist with event support and reaching out to partners for meetings 
Other ad hoc tasks if needed  
Time frame: Demands 20 hours per week, minimum 8-12 months (working hours will be planned with the team leader).

Preferred Qualifications
The job is open for applicants who are currently at the 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate or enrolled in a postgraduate program. We prefer you to have the following qualifications:
Willingness and ability to conduct independent research within energy commercial press release and state policies, green maritime and shipping;
Proficiency in both Chinese and English, with strong oral and written communication skills;
Willingness and ability to help with translation and proof-reading, and project activities;
Studies related to public administration, business, economics, mechanical engineering, data science, maritime or energy;
Positive attitude to new tasks and team spirit;
Availability to come to office 20 hours per week.
