The
Royal Danish Consulate under the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is looking
for an energetic and bright individual to take over a full-time position as
Office Admin.
The
Consulate General is a part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. It
assists and promotes Danish companies’ interests in China. We facilitate Danish
investment, sales, sourcing and promotion of products. We offer a challenging
work environment where you need to combine both independent work with a high
degree of team-work.
Personality and job description
You
are in many ways the centre of the office. You are a go-to person and
problem-solver. And you like it that
way. You will provide the Royal Danish Consulate with assistance in the
everyday work. Your specific work will include:

Handle sending/receiving of diplomatic post, standard
letters/packages, and customs clearance/declaration when needed.
·
Annual verification of the State Administration of Quality
Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
·
Handle VAT declaration and refund.
·
Assist with contact to bank and payments to local vendors.
·
Apply for new and renewal of visas, dip card, driving license,
number plates, and other cards on behalf of diplomats when necessary.
·
Daily assistant work to the Consul General.
·
Purchase and maintain stock of office supplies.
·
Handle travel booking on behalf of all employees.
·
Answer the telephone.
·
Support and back up to other commercial colleagues if needed.
·
Handle incoming invitations and translate them for the Consul
General.
·
Ad hoc administrative assistance to all employees at the
Consulate.
·
Assist with translation when needed.
Key
qualifications
We
are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and outgoing person with an eye for
quality and efficiency in your daily work. Furthermore, you should have:

Excellent command of Mandarin and English both oral and written
·
Team spirit and detail- and result- orientation
·
Experience working with Chinese officials is an advantage
·
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university
·
Experience from privately owned companies or international organisations
or consulates is an advantage
·
Structured approach to new tasks and the ability to multitask
·
Creative, self-motivated and independent by nature
·
Ability to work under pressure
