Green cooperation

In 2008, Denmark entered into the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with China. The Partnership provides a framework for cooperation and focuses on the areas where Denmark and China agree to intensify cooperation. You can read more about Denmark's strategic cooperation with China here.

To further enrich the Partnership, Denmark and China launched a joint work program (China-Denmark Joint Work Program 2017-2020) in 2017. The second phase of the joint work programme (2021-2024) is currently under preparation. The overall purpose will be bilateral cooperation on the implementation of the UN's global goals for sustainable development. An important focus area is expected to be sustainable green transformation across all sectors.
