Closing notice due to Prayer Day
The Embassy in Beijing as well as the Consulates General in Shanghai and Guangzhou will be closed Friday 13 May due to Prayer Day. The visa application centres will also be closed during this time.
Business at the representations and the visa application centres will resume on Monday 16th May.
In case of consular emergency, please call the switchboards of the Embassy at +86 (10) 8532 9900, or Consulate General in Shanghai at +86 (21) 8025 0600, or Consulate General in Guangzhou at +86 (20) 2829 7300, where you will be re-directed to the 24/7 call centre at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Copenhagen.
Despite the current lockdown in Shanghai, it is still possible to contact the Consulate General in Shanghai, however, we kindly refer to the Embassy in Beijing or the Consulate General in Guangzhou for consular enquiries.
