The atmosphere was buzzling with entrepreneurial drive, when the University Startup World Cup final was launched in Chang Yang Valley this Monday.

University Startup World Cup is a leading university startup program and competition that gathers promising university talents, corporates, business professionals and entrepreneurs for a one-week program in Copenhagen.

At the grand final in Chang Yang Valley, seven university startups from different Chinese universities made a 5 minute pitch about their company in front of the audience and a jury consisting of people from governmental bodies as well as the industry.

ZhenRobotics - a startup from Qinghua University - won the final and will therefore go to Copenhagen to compete to be the best student startup in the world. The prize was delivered by Rasmus Bjørnø, Director of Invest in Denmark, China on the behalf of the University Startup World Cup.

The event in Chang Yang Valley was supported by Innovation Center Denmark, Shanghai, which also delivered a speech by its Executive Director, Morten Brandtoft, who shared his own entrepreneurial experiences with the students.
