January 9th 2012, a donation ceremony was held at the Danish Embassy. Jan Bill Henschke, Export manager at Medema Production reached a helping hand out to the Chinese rehabilitation society by donating a mini crosser to Ms. Tang Xiaoquan, Vice Chair-person of China Foundation for Disabled Persons. The Danish Ambassador to China, Mr. Friis Arne Petersen said in his opening speech, that it is a good foundation for cooperation between Denmark and China to share our experiences and best practices in the rehabilitation area. “The Danish-Chinese co-operation in the field of healthcare, rehabilitation and eldercare is not new, but has for sure picked up momentum over the last few years. The support from Medema underlines the strong interest in this field, and I am confident their presence here is a sign of a strong long term commitment towards the Chinese market,” said Mr. Friis Arne Petersen.
“The Chinese health care sector continues to develop, we hope and expect to see increasingly strong ties between Denmark and China also in this field – both between our governments and between our companies,” said the Danish Ambassador.
