The Royal Danish Embassy in Beijing is looking for an energetic Chinese student for a position as our part-time Press and Public Diplomacy Student Worker to start as soon as possible. Please scroll down to see detailed information about the vacancy.

Job Description

You typical tasks will include:

  • Translating relevant information/news about Denmark and post on our Chinese social media platforms.
  • Writing news in English and Chinese for our website.
  • Creating and adapting contents for specific social media platforms.
  • Helping make weekly social media reports.
  • Assisting with expanding our media network in China.
  • Assisting with organising media and public diplomacy events or other ad hoc affairs.

Time frame: Demands 20 hours per week, minimum 12-18 months (working hours will be planned with the selected candidates)

Salary: Monthly salary of 2000 RMB.

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

The job is open for applicants who currently study at a university. We prefer you to have the following qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a BA or MA programme.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Major in international relations, journalism, English or related areas is a plus.
  • Avid social media user
  • Superb in organizing data content and information management
  • Responsible, inquisitive and creative (in that order)
