Administrative Officer (HR) to the Danish Embassy in Beijing

Team Administration is a dynamic team consisting of both locally employed employees and external service providers. The administration is responsible for the accounting, HR administration, facility management and IT. We strive to have a well-functioning, streamlined and service-minded administration that supports and guides all employees in a wide range of administrative procedures and regulations. You will be part of a multicultural workplace with colleagues from Denmark and China, and be part of the China matrix organization.

As our new administrative colleague, you will participate in the team's overall day-to-day tasks and primarily be responsible for the following areas:

  • HR administration of local colleagues and interns, incl. recruitment, job advertisement,  employment contracts, update of staff database and coordinating with HQ about HR issues
  • Super user of the electronic file system (F2), and back up of UMtid
  • Assist with administrative tasks in connection with high-level visits, events, etc.
  • Back up on housing administration, state inventory, maintenance etc.
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks

Responsibilities can be changed to maintain team flexibility.

• Outgoing service minded person with positive attitude
• Thrives in a busy environment with many on-going activities
• Experience from previous administrative jobs is an advantage
• Good team player, both with other teams and with management
• Fluent in Danish and English. Chinese is an advantage but not a requirement
• Works independently, structured and organized

Salary and terms of employment
